For your consideration is a very rare vintage survey transit:  Hilger & Watts transit with Autoset Level, model SL62-2.  High-quality made in England, vintage.  The case has significant wear/patina, however the transit is in very good, clean, working condition.  VERY rare, the only instance of finding anything on the internet for any SL62 is at the Institution of Civil Engineers in Scotland.  Unlikely you'll ever see another one, let alone one for sale.
