Ibanez SR600

The "SR" series boasts enduring popularity for its stylish design and playability. This instrument is made by Fujigen, and judging from the serial number, it is likely from around 1993.

[Specifications]
Ash body with a 3-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and 24 frets. Gotoh rotomatic tuners are used. The color is see-through black sunburst.

[Sound & Features]
It features a powerful sound with a strong attack, and is suitable for both fingerstyle and pick playing. One volume, one pickup balancer, and active 2-band EQ allow for diverse sound shaping. The 24-fret specification covers a wide range of tones, and the deep cutaway allows for smooth fingering up to the high frets.

[Neck & Playability]
It is thin and easy to hold, and because the neck is particularly thin, it is easy to play even for people with small hands. The string height is low, making it easy to fret.

[Condition]There is a paint chip of about 1 cm on the right side horn of the body. There are many dents and scratches on the sides, back, and back of the neck, showing signs of use commensurate with its age, but there are no particular problems with playability. The electronics work without problems.

[Neck Condition]The truss rod is tight in the tightening direction, making it difficult to correct for forward bowing. Currently, there are no particular problems such as dead spots, and the string height is low and good.

[Fret Condition]There is slight wear mainly on the lower frets, but it can still be used without any problems.

[String Height]Measured at the 12th fret: Approximately 2.5 mm on the 4th string side, approximately 2 mm on the 1st string side
