This is an Atlas map showing an overview of part of the State of Mississippi which shows the locations of Union and Confederate troops on late May 14th 1863. May 14th marked the Battle of Jackson for which Ulysses S Grant and his troops captured Vicksburg Mississippi and destroyed their railways and communications.
