This is an Atlas map showing an overview of part of the State of Mississippi which shows the locations of Union and Confederate troops on late May 14th 1863. May 14th marked the Battle of Jackson for which Ulysses S Grant and his troops captured Vicksburg Mississippi and destroyed their railways and communications.

• This atlas map measures about 16-5/8" x 12-3/4". Please note that the dollar bill is show as a reference for scale.

• The reverse side of this map is blank of any image.
