OVERVIEW

The Gladiator QR700-SUV is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs. This model has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes too. Gladiator offers a 60,000 mile warranty with this tire model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction and road gripping ability. The all season tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The four wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The enhanced water dispersing ability and the exceptional all weather traction work together to guarantee a safer year round road gripping ability.

The tread pattern is noise treated, which means that it lowers the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. The tread design channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. The tire's internal structure sports twin steel belts that maintain the optimal tire shape and allow the tire to closely follow the road surface in all weather, lowering the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. This combination ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The tread design's continuous zig zag rib and large shoulder tread block maintain road contact at all times. This allows the tire to increase its steering responsiveness and driving stability. The zig zag rib enhances the response time and accuracy of the steering, while the shoulder tread blocks maintain road contact and secure the tire against the driving pressure. The zig zag rib also manages to shorten the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking. The shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges during cornering and maneuvering which lets the driver confidently maneuver in all conditions.

The QR700-SUV's internal structure features two strong steel belts. They maintain the tire's optimal shape under the driving pressure and do not let it deform. This upgrades the tire's driving durability. The steel belts also stiffen the tread elements. They prevent tread flexing while the tires are in transit which avoids irregular wear patterns forming across the tread area. The longer lasting, even tread life lengthens the tread life and tire usability significantly.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
