They do not require access to a power source, making them suitable for mobile applications where access to a power source is limited. These air-cooled oil coolers pass heated oil through a radiator-like heat exchanger and use ambient air to cool the oil. Ambient temperature affects the cooling capacity of these coolers. They are used in agricultural equipment, construction, sites, and other areas where access to a power source is limited.
