The Kit contains:
 
60 mm Aluminium 2 Part Mould Rings Delft 
1 Kg of Petrobond sand clay
Delft style sand casting ring for use with all types of casting sand, including Delft, Nitrobond and Petrobond clay. The two part flask is precision made from aluminium and It allows the easy duplication from patterns or models. It can also be used for split pattern casing
The casting ring features:
2 precision made interlocking rings to ensure perfect alignment.
Outer dimensions 60mm diameter and overall 55mm, 4.5mm wall thickness for added durability.
25mm side hole, to allow the mould to be used vertically or horizontally,
6 holes in the in locking rings allow the easy venting of castings.
Steel clamp allows the two halves of the casting ring to be securely held together when casting.
 
Petrobond is a high oil mix bonded sand suitable for non ferrous metals, including gold, silver, aluminium,  bronze silicon bronze, manganese bronze, and brass and copper based alloys. The sand produces a fine surface finish and produces comparable results to delft clay, using the same techniques and tools. It can also be used as an alternative to green sand for larger castings and produces near die cast quality casting.
 
The sand can be reused multiple times. The casting sand is supplied vacuum packed in sealed plastic bag and is post free.
