2 Piece Sand Casting Bundle For Metal Casting (Delft Style) Gold Silver Bronze etc

The bundle contains:

• Traditional sand casting flask / mould 4 Pin Type (The 4 pins give increase accuracy of alignment)
• 2 Kg of Petrobond sand clay

The two part flask is precision made from cast iron. It allows the easy duplication. The sand casting flask can be filled vertically or horizontally, securely by 4 locating pins. The casting void is approximately 115 x 74 x 58 mm.The flask holds the sand when a mould is being made. 

Petrobond is a high oil mix bonded sand suitable for non ferrous metals, including gold, silver, aluminium,  bronze silicon bronze, manganese bronze, and brass and copper based alloys. The sand produces a fine surface finish and produces comparable results to delft clay, using the same techniques and tools. It can also be used as an alternative to green sand for larger castings and produces near die cast quality casting.The sand can be reused multiple times. The casting sand is supplied vacuum packed in sealed plastic bag and is post free.
