In particular, his National Treasure Reproduction Series is an unrivaled level of intricate reproduction.
This piece was handcrafted by armor maker Yuzan to replicate the helmet of the Red-Sided Armor (Bamboo Tiger and Sparrow Decoration), a National Treasure housed at Kasuga Taisha Shrine (Nara Prefecture). The metalwork detailing of bamboo and sparrows throughout makes this an extremely luxurious helmet ornament.
The display stand with its deep gradation and a folding screen painted with a brave hawk represent the wish that the child will grow into a strong, powerful boy.
