Pair of rare antique late 18th century Georgian period, old Sheffield plate three-light candelabra.
Featuring drawn wire, lyre-shaped stems and bat-wing fluting and reeded detail to the oval bases and sconces.
Condition: There is some copper bleed and a little more so to one of the bases. A small, discreet historic solder repair has come undone, so the scroll arm, just below the 4-bead detail is not connected, however it isn't obvious and cosmetic only. A few small, minor bends to the stems. Lightly polished. Each has its original reeded drip pan.
No maker mark.
