She boasts a bright and beautiful appearance and has five children with her strong and robust husband, Bishamonten. As a goddess governing worldly benefits such as fortune, bountiful harvests, and family safety, she has been venerated since the Nara period. **Isumu's Craftsmanship** The model is based on the Important Cultural Property "Wooden Statue of Kichiten" housed at Jōruri Temple in Kyoto Prefecture. Said to have been made in 1212, this statue was long considered a secret Buddha, and it transmits the vivid colors and luxurious adornments of its Kamakura period craftsmanship. Isumu has recreated this beautiful object in its original form. The statue is richly adorned with gold leaf and layered with colors to enhance its vibrancy. The elongated eyes, meticulously crafted to 0.1 mm lines, and the attractive lips reach the pinnacle of feminine beauty.
