They designed a lighting series for Artek inspired by a basket (called "kori" in Finnish). The Kori Pendant Light features arm-like parts extending from the socket section to the shade like small branches. The shade is designed to avoid glare, allowing the bulb’s light to shine directly downward while softly diffusing indirect light upward. The light through the arms resembles gentle sunlight filtering through tree branches. It fills the room with a natural and gentle illumination. Sustainability is also carefully considered. To eliminate unnecessary energy consumption, all manufacturing processes are conducted within a 200-kilometer radius of Italy. All aluminum used in the lamp’s core is made from recycled materials. The bulb socket supports a wide range of bulbs, including energy-saving types, ensuring long-term use. Its compact form is perfect for multiple pendant arrangements or small spaces.
