Scarce vintage early 1950's Marklin dealer advertising photograph of the factory. Possibly part of a series that also depicted 1950's models they were selling.

Thanks to Paul at Marklinstop dot com, I've included scans of an interesting letter and the factory photo sent to a US collector in 1956.  There's a really interesting thread worth reading on his website RE: Maerklin's immediate postwar history, relationships with the US Army of Occupation, etc.

Measures approximately 11x15 inches. Has a slight warp that will flatten with pressure if desired.

Displays well on wall or desktop. Check photos to inspect defects on corners and edges.

Please view my other Marklin listings and thanks for watching.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING TERMS - PLEASE READ - HAPPY CAMPERS ONLY!

Buyer pays EXACT shipping and insurance, calculated once final value and address are known. Shipping is usually by USPS US Mail. A POSTAGE CALCULATOR can be found further down the page. I’m usually very accurate, but If I underestimated the weight, I will issue a refund or be happy to apply to future purchases.

COMBINED SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE AND SAVES A TON OF MONEY ON POSTAGE FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS. If a link appears during checkout, please press to request an invoice to reflect decreased shipping cost.

If no link appears to request an updated invoice, PLEASE PAY THE FULL AMOUNT FOR EACH ITEM. I will then refund you the difference in postage, usually within the hour, but certainly within a day. I know it’s cumbersome, but it does save money on postage and is the most accurate method.  DO NOT TRY AND ESTIMATE THE COMBINED SHIPPING. You can also email with the items you wish to purchase and the zip and method of shipping, I will get back to you with the exact amount due.

If you like vintage European trains, structures, paper, coins, and vehicles, please add me (vahs) to your favorite sellers list, and check out my other items on eBay - lots more to come!

Questions? Je parle français. Domande? PARLO ITALIANO. Buona fortuna!

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - PLEASE READ:

All items are usually shipped with eBay’s International Shipping Program, which seems to be faster and much cheaper than PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL, which is another option.

Import duties taxes, tariffs, and fees (ZOLL, DOGANA, DOUANE, ADUANAS) are the responsibility of the buyer, and are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your local customs office BEFORE bidding. All packages shipped FULLY INSURED at actual value to protect both buyer and seller and will not be marked at a lesser value or as a gift.

IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR ITEM, PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. MY GOAL IS FOR YOU TO BE 100% HAPPY WITH THE TRANSACTION. I want you to enjoy my collectibles as much as I have. Thanks for looking.
