An Art Piece Has Become a Vase!
COOEE Design is a stylish and feminine Swedish brand that creates trendy interior accessories.
Cooee actively collaborates with outstanding external artists, and the designer of this piece, Norwegian Anders Pfeffer Gjengedal, is one of them.
Interestingly, he was originally a famous ballet dancer.
Anders has been producing artistic objects made from wood and stone, featuring beautifully organic curves.
This product transforms his artistic wooden work into a practical ceramic flower vase.
Thank you, Cooee, for making art pieces more accessible to us!
“Frodig” means something like “sensuous” or “bountiful” in Norwegian.
It has a unique and beautiful shape.
Another distinctive feature is that it has two openings for placing flowers.
It looks wonderful as an object on its own, and utilizing the two openings, you can create interesting flower arrangements.
The surface has the familiar matte and silky distinctive texture.
It feels somewhat elastic, almost rubbery(?), giving a sense of high quality.
The inside is coated with a glossy glaze.
Since it is hand-painted, some irregularities, bubbles, roughness, or tiny spots may be visible on the surface.
Please order with this understanding.
【Care Instructions】
Wipe the outside with a soft cloth. If necessary, moisten the cloth slightly with water and gently blot the dirty areas. Afterward, be sure to absorb any moisture with a dry cloth.
You can put water inside, but since ceramic is a porous material that absorbs easily, it is recommended to dry it occasionally between uses.
Please be careful as disinfectant sprays like “Pastelize” may cause the paint to peel off.
