The bamboo strips are thick and robustly made. The round basket is designed to be versatile, with a thicker stainless steel wire along the edge to withstand weight and impact (such as when tapping the basket to drain water).

Since it is made from bamboo, it prevents the formation of a water layer, allowing for excellent drainage. While you eat noodles, the bamboo absorbs any excess moisture.

As this is a handmade product made from natural materials, there may be small gaps in the wrapping on the edges. You may see some of the stainless steel wire inside, but we ask for your understanding as this is a characteristic of handmade products.
