This is a simple round bamboo colander that is heat-resistant and very durable, making it essential in the kitchen. It’s perfect for everyday use, and it looks great when serving soba, vegetables, sweets, tempura, and more.

The bamboo slats are thick and stiffly constructed. Round bamboo colanders are designed for various uses, and to withstand weight and impact (as you might hit the colander while draining), the rims contain thick stainless steel wire.

Made from bamboo, it does not easily form a film of water, allowing for quick drainage. While enjoying noodles, the bamboo absorbs excess moisture.

Sizes range from approximately 12 to 45 cm in diameter. Please choose based on your needs. In addition to serving soba and sweets, it can also be used for drying vegetables or draining washed dishes—it's versatile!

Things we want customers to know
As this is handmade using natural materials, there may be gaps in the rim wrapping. The inner stainless steel wire may be slightly visible, but we ask for your understanding as a characteristic of handmade products. (The colander has thick stainless steel wire in the rim for added strength.)
