This is a Mizuno T-Zoid Forged Titanium Driver (specifically the 1PD 10.5° variant) from around 2000.
• “1 PD 10.5°” on the crown insert (the “1PD” refers to the 1° closed face on the 10.5° loft model — a draw-biased design to help golfers square the face and combat slices).
• Red “ZOID” branding.
• Gold Mizuno logo.
• Oval sticker reading “ZOID FLEX.S” (indicating the stiff-flex shaft in the T-Zoid line).
Key Specs & Design
• Head: ~210 cc pear-shaped forged titanium (four-piece construction) with a silver face and distinctive blue accents/crown.
• Face Technology: Mizuno’s patent-pending CORTECH variable-thickness face — one of the early “spring-like” designs that delivered excellent ball speed and distance for the era.
