WHAT IS RAW BRASS VS VINTAGE PATINA or OXIDIZED BRASS

The Raw Brass option refers to the lighter golden colored brass in the photos. Brass naturally oxidizes so some of the raw brass pieces can be slightly oxidized. Using a metal polish or Brasso will bring the color back to the original yellow or red brass, golden tones.

The Vintage Patina option usually refers to very oxidized brass and can vary from lighter coppery brown colors to darker deeper browns. Oxidizing brass prematurely is not an exact science and pieces can vary in color. The pieces you receive may not be the exact shade as in the photos. The lighter and coppery tones will gradually darken over time unless the brass is sealed. The Vintaj glaze and matte sealers will do the job if that is what you need.
