A beautiful heavy Sterling Silver Scottish Brooch Kilt Pin, date letter for 1948, made in Edinburg, by the Thomas Ebbutt, signed in rectangular cartouche T.B. Exquisitely engraved with Celtic Patterns. Stone is a round facetted cut in a very light brown color.  About 3 1/4 inches across and about 1+ inch tall.  Nice stout working pin.  Weighing a hefty 3.1 ounces. From my personal collection, engraved with my name.  

I have collected quaiches and plaid brooches for over 40 years.  My children and grandchildren have no interest in the old man's collections.  I don't want to see them go in a yard sale.  I'd rather see them sell to someone who will use them and appreciate them.  Good luck.
