Condition Report:
Mug: The mug is in immaculate condition and has never been used. The exterior glaze and the "For a special friend" sentiment are crisp and unbroken. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to the body or handle.
The Interior: Please note there is some light crazing (fine lines under the glaze) at the very bottom of the interior. Importantly, the glaze remains unbroken and smooth to the touch; these are purely age-related character marks common in vintage earthenware.
Box: Includes the original Spode box. The box shows clear signs of age-related wear and damage (as seen in photos), but it has served its purpose perfectly by preserving the mug inside for years.
