OVERVIEW

The Cooper Discoverer Snow Claw is a touring and highway terrain, winter tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. It has some commercial van sizes available.

The tire enhances its load durability with the stronger internal structure. The tire's construction keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. Since the tire does not deform, it is able to securely increase the overall load carrying and withstanding ability and power. This significantly boosts the tire's load capacity, ensuring a secure heavy-duty performing ability.

Exceptional winter weather traction is guaranteed. The non-directional tread design with the high-density zigzag siping placement improves the tire's snow and ice traction. These tread elements provide a higher number of biting edges to grip the road surface, upgrading the performing safety. Cooper's patented Snow-Groove technology further boosts the snow-on-snow drive as the grooves pack snow into the footprint to optimize the traction. The stronger winter compound keeps its rubber flexibility and does not freeze in colder temperatures. The tread area is pinned for studs, which can be added to further upgrade the winter weather traction. The circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further upgrading the winter weather driving safety levels.

The Discoverer Snow Claw improves its controllability. The tread design's notched center rib and shoulder block placement maintain the surface contact while the tires are in motion. As a result, the tire is able to greatly upgrade the model's steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the driver has better control over the vehicle throughout its performance. The high-density siping placement generates friction at the moment of braking, significantly decreasing the braking distance. This combination ensures the tire's exceptional driving safety levels.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
