Broadway Limited's HO Scale Pennsylvania Railroad B6sb 0-6-0 Steam Switcher #1678 is a highly detailed model of the PRR's most numerous steam switcher class. The B6sb was a standard six-coupled 0-6-0 steam switcher designed for yard and industrial switching service throughout the Pennsylvania Railroad system. Built in large numbers by the PRR's Altoona Works and outside contractors, these rugged locomotives served in freight yards, industrial sidings, and engine terminal service across the entire PRR network.

The 0-6-0 switcher type was the universal yard engine of the steam era, simple enough to maintain in quantity and powerful enough to handle heavy cut-and-push work in even the busiest classification yards. This BLI model features Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC with Rolling Thunder.
