Broadway Limited's HO Scale Canadian National EMD F3 A-unit #9003 is a beautifully detailed, ready-to-run model equipped with Stealth Series (DCC-Ready, No Sound). The EMD F3 was a 1,500-horsepower cab unit diesel built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between 1945 and 1949. It was the third model in EMD's celebrated F-unit series and the locomotive that definitively accelerated the steam-to-diesel transition on most American railroads. Over 1,100 A-units and nearly 700 B-units were built.

F3s served major railroads in both freight and passenger service.
