The Broadway Limited N Scale EMD F7 Stealth Series faithfully recreates the iconic 1,500-horsepower diesel locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division between 1949 and 1953. As the fourth model in the F-unit locomotive line, the F7 became the best-selling cab unit of all time. While primarily differing from the F3 in internal equipment, the F7 featured noticeable external changes including redesigned grills and dynamic brake hatches. F7 locomotives operated in both passenger and freight service across North American railroads, with many units remaining in active service for decades.

This production models A-units and B-units from fourteen railroads with prototypically accurate road numbers and paint schemes. The Stealth Series offering consists of No-Sound, DCC-Ready single A-units and single B-units. All models feature road-specific details with prototypically accurate options including prototypical pilots, operating Mars Lights (with decoder installed), correct numberboard styles, horn detail, dynamic brakes, cooling fans, exhaust hatches, winterization hatches, multiple MU door and skirt configurations, and accurately placed grab irons, antennas, lift lugs, nose door number plates, and trainphone antennas.

The Stealth Series models are DCC-Ready out of the box with no sound. Front and rear lights are directional out of the box, with other lights on with track power. Each model comes with an 8-ohm speaker installed for easy installation of a DCC/Sound decoder, allowing for future sound upgrade capability.
