This comb is made by shaving down high-quality black water buffalo horn with no warping. It’s a rounded, all-over combing type. One side is almost completely jet black, while the other side is a slightly brownish black. It uses horn from water buffalo (also called black water buffalo or “hon-suigyu”), which is also used as a material for personal seals (inkan). Because it doesn’t generate static electricity, it’s gentle on hair and scalp.
