The Elizabeth Rose was designed in 1801 at the request of King George III, using the English rose as a motif.
Although it was not commercialized at the time, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne, and in prayer for long-lasting peace and love between husband and wife,
the original design was faithfully reproduced in 2003 from the design archives.
