These new leads work for the Vivax Metrotech XLR leads 3 pin transmitters. There are various 3,5 and 10 watt set ups that use these. They have switched to the newer plug on the high voltage sets and the regular 5tx and 10 tx transmitters. These are from the 1st and second series. Radiodetection 433 HCtx-2 pancake transmitter uses this 3 pin type also.

Let me know if you have clamps and the ends and I may be able to give you a discount for the old parts, the wire is the cheapest part to replace.

The price is for one set of leads

 .

These are the better plugs from Neutrik they are the original equipment used by Vivax. I test each set as well as use a high quality American multi tinned copper wires from a local wire company. The end clamps are steel and are sturdy and have worked well on 100's of the leads I have made or sold.

***The wire is completely made and sold in USA, which I like and helps buffer from tariffs and poor quality issues.***

What most folks on Ebay won't tell you is the pins on most locator plugs only accept about a 65 strand multi tinned wire because of their size and the limited space for the wires without shorting, so to make with the larger AWG either they have to cut down the wire count, or you end up having mechanical stress from forcing it past the  strain relief or covers for these plugs.

My leads are 20 ft long, 10ft for both black and red. I know the usual size is about 12-14 for Vivax and that is always just a little short. It would save some on the cost, but I have seen leads as short as 6 feet on here, honestly how can you really use that short of a set?  We know finding a ground is always an issue.

As stated above, you may not need a ground extension, but if you do I can make those also.

The Mueller leads are good and I have those if you want a set made, but realistically these will work just fine for years and saves a bit on price. I also have the large clamps from Mueller if you want those I can make them. I compared the newer Mueller leads and ends and the clamps are not much different from the Amazon leads. I will likely switch to the Mueller because I prefer to buy from local companies and support local business whenever possible.

They are 18 AWG multi tinned copper at 65 strands. The AWG 14 wires from the company have far fewer strands. It is the strand count along with a good insulator covering that helps these be durable and strong. I see leads for sale on here with solid wires. That is fine for occasional use, but you want high quality wire that is flexible for daily heavy use.

I reinforce several layers and solder all the ends for the clamps and the ends to ensure that they are secure, not just crimped.

These are a great deal for the price compared to some listings on Ebay and also from Radiodetection or Vivax.

I can make many other type of lead and will be posting more online. If you send pics or the old leads I may be able to replace them with new parts depending on how many you want.
