Published in attractive original pictorial gilded red cloth binding, illustrated with steel engravings and maps

Offered in acceptable condition with wear and tear that should be expected from books of this age and popularity, with splits and damages to top and bottom of spines,  marks to boards, possible missing plates, 

scuffs to bards, wrinkled tissue guards, etc
