Vintage 1950s Peggy Page Mexico Copper Teapot - Hand-Wrought MCM Modernist

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. Light signs of age with a few light marks/scratches and some natural patina. Structurally sound but requires deep cleaning and possibly re-tinning if used for brewing. Lovely decorative ornament.

DESCRIPTION:

A stunning example of Mid-Century Mexican craftsmanship, this hand-wrought copper teapot is signed on the base by the renowned designer Peggy Page.

Known for her sculptural and often "Brutalist" influenced metalwork, this piece features a classic conical shape paired with a beautifully carved dark wood handle.

ORIGIN: Hand-wrought in Mexico, circa 1950s/60s.

Material: Heavy-gauge solid copper with a hand-carved wooden handle.

DETAILS: Includes a hinged lid with a copper ball finial and a gracefully curved spout.
