A very rare Hardy St George 3-34" diameter fly reel factory fitted with SILENT CHECK and Hardy agate line guide in nickle frame. NO cracks or chips in the agate. 3 screw drum latch, original crazed handle and seat, the handle turns freely. No drum rock or play on this reel. Smooth alloy single rivet foot, working rim tension brake adjuster. Inside the backplate is the x rare Silent Check mechanism, the backplate stamped 4M. No mechanical faults or issues, a rare vintage St George Silent check for the collector.
