Hardy Perfect 4" vintage brass faced alloy salmon reel. The brass face is stamped Rod in Hand, Oval and Straight line Hardy logos. The alloy pillars are waisted which in itself is a rare feature, Strapped tension regulator and Turks lock screw is working correctly. The check gives off a positive click when the reel is turned. Original drum screw, and a smooth 4 screw alloy foot. There is no drum play or rock with the brass face retaining most original bronze finish and patina. Dating c 1904, this is an excellent collectors reel.
