The case back is engraved with a commemorative inscription for the 20th anniversary of operation and an illustration of the 923 Series Doctor Yellow train, along with a unique edition number.

【Attention to Detail】

6 o'clock subdial (small seconds hand): Represents the "forward monitoring camera" that transmits data to the central command center in case of abnormal values.

Luminous treatment: A dot mark resembling the headlights of the 923 series Doctor Yellow. The hour and minute hands are also treated with luminous coating that glows in the dark.

11 o'clock index: A gold-shining index is added at the 11 o'clock position, symbolizing the lucky four-leaf clover and the cross of the Shinkansen doctor.

Curved Hardlex crystal: A gently curved Hardlex crystal. Inspired by the windshield of a Shinkansen.

【What is the lucky yellow Shinkansen "923 series Doctor Yellow"?】

Its official name is the Shinkansen Electric Track Comprehensive Test Car. The train runs approximately once every 10 days, and the data obtained from track and overhead line inspections is used as basic information for the daily maintenance of various facilities. Its running schedule is not publicly announced, and it's rarely seen, so those who happen to spot it are considered "lucky," and combined with its yellow color, it's said that "seeing it brings happiness."
