Note: The original NOS (New Old Stock) waistbands and cuffs available from other sellers on eBay are over 80 years old. Wool material this old can deteriorate and become weak. These weak areas can be invisible to the eye but when installed can form holes in the material as the jacket is worn. Our knits are custom made for us and are new. Because of this, they are not affected by these deterioration problems and can be installed with confidence for a long service life.

These knits are hand milled on looms to the highest quality in the USA. The long fiber 100% wool material is naturally pill resistant, fire resistant, and provides excellent weather resistance.
