PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The N5 nozzle (IWN-0804 / N0804) is the original 0.5mm fluid nozzle for the Neo for Iwata TRN2 β a side-feed, pistol-trigger airbrush built for high-flow, general-purpose spraying.
Together with the N5 needle (IWN-0754), this nozzle forms the core of the TRN2's spray system. The 0.5mm bore is designed for high paint flow β primers, varnishes, basecoats, and heavier paints all move through comfortably, with spray patterns reaching up to approximately 38mm (1.5") at optimal settings. Experienced modellers describe this combination as a genuine all-rounder for coverage work.
When a nozzle becomes worn, cracked, or deformed (often by a previously bent needle pressing against the bore wall), even a brand-new needle can't deliver a clean pattern. Replacing the nozzle restores the precise bore geometry your TRN2 was designed around.
This nozzle does not include an o-ring. If your nozzle seal also needs replacing, source the appropriate o-ring separately.

1 Γ Iwata N5 Fluid Nozzle 0.5mm (IWN-0804) in original Iwata packaging. O-ring not included.
β Direct fit: Neo for Iwata TRN2 (side-feed, pistol-trigger airbrush)
π Conversion fit: Neo for Iwata TRN1 (gravity-feed) β requires additional N5 needle (IWN-0754), N5 head base, and N5 nozzle cap
β Does NOT fit: Neo CN, Neo BCN, Eclipse, Revolution, Hi-Line, Custom Micron, or any other Iwata series
π Pairs with: N5 Needle 0.5mm (IWN-0754) β for best results, replace both the nozzle and needle together. A worn nozzle can be deformed by a previously bent needle, and vice versa.
πΈ Use a proper nozzle wrench. Never use pliers or the basic spanner from the airbrush kit. A dedicated Iwata nozzle wrench reduces the risk of cracking or cross-threading.
πΈ Don't overtighten. The nozzle only needs to be snug β finger-tight with a quarter-turn from the wrench. Over-tightening is the most common cause of cracked nozzles.
πΈ Replace needle and nozzle together. If your old needle was bent, it likely deformed the nozzle bore into an oval shape. A new nozzle with the old bent needle won't give you a clean pattern.
πΈ Don't remove the nozzle unless necessary. Routine cleaning rarely requires nozzle removal. Only take it out if it's visibly damaged, irreversibly clogged, or you're replacing it.
πΈ Never push anything into the nozzle from the front. No pins, no wire, no brushes forced through the bore. Clean from the back only β or soak the entire head assembly in airbrush cleaner.
βΈ This nozzle is designed for the Neo TRN2. It does not drop into the Neo CN, Neo BCN, or other Iwata series β double-check your airbrush model before ordering.
βΈ O-ring is not included. If your existing nozzle seal is worn or damaged, you'll need to source a replacement o-ring separately.
βΈ At 0.5mm, this nozzle is built for coverage β primers, basecoats, varnishes. For very fine lines and minimal overspray, a 0.35mm (N3) setup will give you more control.
βΈ A new nozzle alone won't fix problems caused by a bent needle, worn needle packing, or clogged paint channels β those issues need addressing separately.
βΈ Nozzle replacement carries a risk of thread damage if done carelessly. Use the right tool, don't force it, and if you're not confident β consider professional fitting.
