Turkish amulet *Nazar Boncugu*
The Nazar Boncugu is an eye-shaped amulet meant to ward off the evil eye—malicious or envious looks such as jealousy and resentment.
It is said that when misfortune strikes, these “eyes” break in your place as a substitute.
Breaking is not considered ominous; rather, it’s proof that you were protected.
Give thanks, and replace it with a new one.
A small ornament combining a 3 cm Nazar Boncugu with a metal charm featuring the Hamsa (Hand of Fatima) motif.
The Hand of Fatima motif also carries protective meaning.
Because it’s small, it’s also recommended as a bag charm.
[Size] Approx. 17 cm total length × approx. 3.5 cm maximum width; eye diameter approx. 3 cm
[Materials] Glass, metal
*Notes:*
- As this is handmade, there may be slight unevenness on the surface, minor scratches, or burrs on the metal parts. As an overseas product, please understand in advance.
- Each eye is handcrafted by an artisan by layering glass, so there are variations in how the eye appears. We select items in the best possible condition, but they are not perfectly uniform, and some may have slight imperfections in the eye shape. Thank you for your understanding.
