    1. Disconnect Power

    • Use a wrench to disconnect the negative battery terminal.

    • Remove all mounting bolts/clips and keep them in a safe place.

    • Carefully lift out the old fan.

    • Key detail: Be gentle—don't let the fan blades scrape against the radiator fins (those thin metal honeycomb pieces). Bent fins reduce cooling efficiency.

    3. Install the New Fan

    • Position the new fan and align it with the mounting holes.

    • Hand-tighten the bolts first, then give them a final snug turn with a tool (don't overtighten—plastic brackets can crack).

    • Reconnect the electrical plug until you hear a "click."

    • Key detail: Check that wires are routed away from moving parts like belts and away from hot components like exhaust manifolds.

    4. Test It

    • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

    • Start the vehicle and turn on the A/C.

    • Key detail: Watch to see if the fan spins, and listen for any "ticking" or scraping sounds. If you hear something wrong, turn it off immediately and check if a wire or blade is hitting something.
