【About the difference between smoke-type and heat-type】
● Smoke type (photoelectric)
Smoke-type alarms are required by fire regulations for bedrooms, stairways, kitchens, etc.
When smoke enters the residential fire alarm, it notifies you of a fire with an alarm sound and/or voice.

● Heat type (fixed-temperature)
Suitable for places where large amounts of smoke or steam circulate, such as kitchens and garages.
When the temperature around the residential fire alarm reaches a preset level, it notifies you of a fire with an alarm sound and/or voice.
*Whether to install a smoke-type or heat-type alarm in the kitchen varies depending on local municipal ordinances.
