OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Advan Sport V107 is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

Summer weather traction is promoted with the compound and the tread design. They upgrade the dry and wet weather traction. The stronger compound allows the tire to effectively avoid heat build-up, while the better road-to-rubber ratio allows the tire to keep surface contact at all times. This combination ensures the tire's secure summer performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water from the footprint, further upgrades the wet weather performing capability.

The asymmetric tread design and the heat-resistant compound upgrade the high speed controllability. The tread pattern keeps close road contact, which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability, boosting the driver's control over the vehicle. The model promotes a faster and precise steering response while securing the structural stability. This combination greatly improves the tire's high speed performing power.

Maneuvering is also improved with the optimized tread elements. The model's ideal shoulder block placement, optimized surface contact and stronger compound increase the cornering and braking. The shoulder block placement uses extra biting edges, upgrading the cornering ability. The better contact with the surface and the heat-resistant compound allows the tire to generate friction at the moment of braking. This significantly shortens the braking distance as well.

The Advan Sport V107 increases the comfort levels. The asymmetric tread design allows the tire to decrease the road and tread pattern noise heard by the passengers. The tread channels airwaves through the footprint, without allowing their contact with the tread elements. As a result, the tire greatly decreases the possibility of road disturbances ruining the passengers' driving enjoyment.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
