BEFORE YOU BY A NEW CONTROL BOARD

Some Minn Kota models can experience issues with components that can damage the control board.  Most often, steering issues can alert you to a faulty steering housing.  If a steering housing is bad or is going bad, it will likely draw too many amps which will damage the new control board you are thinking of buying.  Please contact us with the serial number of your motor before you buy if you’re issues are with the steering function of your trolling motor.  We will be happy to offer diagnostic suggestions.   Thank you.
