Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR Wude-Angle Zoom Lens

The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16–35mm f/4G ED VR is a high-performance ultra-wide zoom lens designed for full-frame (FX) cameras, offering an excellent balance of wide-angle coverage, image quality, and portability. Covering a versatile 16–35mm range, it is ideal for landscapes, architecture, interiors, and travel photography.

Unlike faster ultra-wide zooms, this lens features a constant f/4 aperture, allowing for a more compact and lightweight design while maintaining consistent exposure control. A key advantage is the inclusion of Vibration Reduction (VR)—rare in ultra-wide lenses—which enhances handheld shooting, especially in low-light conditions.

Optically, it incorporates ED glass, aspherical elements, and Nano Crystal Coat, delivering sharp images across the frame, well-controlled distortion, and reduced flare and ghosting. The lens is known for its clean rendering, strong contrast, and reliable edge-to-edge performance when stopped down.

With AF-S Silent Wave Motor autofocus, internal focusing, and weather-sealed construction, it offers dependable performance in demanding environments. It remains a popular choice for photographers seeking a lightweight, high-quality ultra-wide zoom with added stabilization.
