Up for sale is a genuine Sheaffer Targa 1001 from the 1980s. Featuring the iconic "White Dot" on the clip and the famous wrap-around inlaid nib, this pen is a staple of vintage American stationery.

While this pen shows signs of its age, it remains a solid, heavy-duty writing instrument perfect for a daily "user" pen or a light restoration project.

Product Details:

• Model: Targa 1001 (Standard size)

• Finish: Brushed Stainless Steel with Chrome trim.

• Nib: Stainless Steel Inlaid Nib (Firm).

• Filling System: Takes Sheaffer cartridges or a converter (not included).

Condition Report (Please Read Carefully):

• Body & Cap: The brushed steel body is in great shape with only minor surface desk wear. The cap clicks on firmly.

• Nib & Grip Section: As shown in the close-up photos, there is visible adhesive aging and ink residue around the edges of the inlaid nib. There is also some minor pitting/tarnish on the metal surface of the nib itself.

• Functionality: The nib remains structurally sound and aligned. It is being sold "As-Is"—ideal for someone who enjoys the character of a vintage "user-grade" pen or someone skilled in light cleaning/restoration.

Why buy this Targa?

The Targa 1001 is legendary for its durability. Because this unit shows some cosmetic wear on the nib section, it is priced accordingly, making it an affordable entry point into the world of high-end vintage Sheaffer pens.
