2) Works on flat-top and grooved-top liners. This tool is designed to install antipolishing rings

without damaging the liner and antipolising ring.

Instruction:

1. Position the antipolishing ring on the top of the cylinder liner counterbore. Align ring so it

sitssquarely on top of the counterbore.

2. Install the cylinder liner puller plate, in the center of the antipolishing ring.

3. Install the cylinder liner puller plate with the bottom facing up for proper seating and alignment.

4. Install the cylinder liner installation tool, Part Number 3164606, over the antipolishing ring

andpuller plate.

5. Thread the installation tool down slowly, pressing the antipolishing ring into the liner counterbore.

6. If the antipolishing ring severely misaligns while pressing it into place, stop the installation

processand inspect for damage.

7. If both the liner and antipolising ring are undamaged, repeat the above steps.
