Ricardo Cinalli was born on April 3, 1948 in the city of Salto Grande, province of Santa Fe, Argentina.

From a very young age he demonstrated his singular talent for drawing and music and for this reason his parents decided to send him to the painting academy of Rosario. In the meantime he studied piano and, after finishing high school, he decided to study psychology. Even though he quickly realized that that wasn't what he loved most, he continuedor his studies including those of Philosophy and in 1972 he graduated. The desire to continue his studies in the subjects he was most passionate about pushed him to go to London. In 1977 he entered the Harrow School of Art in London and from 1978 to 1980 at the Hornsey College of Art in London. The creation of frescoes, public and private murals was what allowed him to obtain many awards and gain public resonance. Cinalli still lives and works in London.
