How to check Pandora charms are authentic:
Pandora stamp all their sterling silver pieces with 'S925 ALE'. The 'S925' is a hallmark guaranteeing the purity of the silver - the capital 'S' stands for silver, and the number represents the purity of silver (it is 92.5% pure silver). The 'ALE' is the marker's mark, and stands for 'Algot Enevoldsen', who was the father of the Pandora founder, Per Enevoldsen. If your charm was before 2011, it will say '925 ALE', without the 'S'. You will always see 'ALE' stamped on Pandora jewellery, except on some of their smallest pieces.  R and MET is used for their Rose items and all gold jewellery is stamped with a capital "G" for gold, followed by the purity, stated as pure gold parts per thousand in the gold alloy: 14k G585 (58.5% pure gold) or 18k G750 (75% pure gold).
