New in box, but has been in storage for many years. Expect dust and wear on packaging. It contains all accessories and tubes inside, but I’m not going to open the box because this packaging is impossible to put back together again without damaging it. Could be used as an actual filter, or as collectable, but I would encourage the purchase of a new replacement Hiker filter from Katadyn (they totally fit) as this cartridge is 25+ years old.

This is a special clear edition of the original PUR Hiker, from late 90’s before the USA company PUR was purchased by Katadyn of Switzerland.

This clear edition was never an item that was for sale at retail, but only used as a sales tool to show the pleated filter core. As such, it would only be given to sales people or used at trade shows. So very rare.
