A pack of 10 replacement/expansion holding pins designed specifically for the AK9565 Handle Support for Painting Miniatures. Each pin is a profiled clip with a score line down the centre — split it along the line and you get two separate mounting pins, giving you up to 20 usable pins from a single pack.
The AK9565 handle comes with only 2 pins out of the box. That's enough to get started, but if you're batch-painting sub-assemblies — heads, weapons, arms, shields, backpacks — you quickly want more pins so you can have a dozen parts mounted and drying simultaneously instead of constantly swapping.
These are the same pins that come with the AK9565, guaranteed to fit the handle's mounting holes without any DIY diameter matching.

⚠️ Requires the AK9565 Handle Support. These pins are designed exclusively for the AK9565 handle's mounting system. They won't work with the standard AK9563 or AK9564 painting handles, or with other brands' holders. If you don't own the AK9565 yet, you'll need to buy the handle separately.
Split along the score line, not across it. Each clip has a pre-scored groove showing where to separate the two halves. Use side cutters or a hobby knife along this line for a clean split. Cutting across the clip or forcing it apart at the wrong angle can damage the pin profile.
Not load-bearing for heavy parts. These are designed for small plastic and resin components — heads, arms, weapons, bits. Very heavy metal parts or large sub-assemblies should be supported with the reusable adhesive putty in addition to the pin for a secure hold.
