These 2016 models inherit the sound and playability of Gibson's flagship solid electric guitar, the Les Paul Standard, while the "Studio" features a simpler style, while the "Faded" model features a thin, matte finish.
The full-size maple top and mahogany back body is paired with a mahogany neck, delivering the powerful resonance you expect from a Les Paul.
The neck grip features a "rounded 50s" profile. Its moderate thickness and gentle roundness make it easy to grip.
The Burstbucker Pro pickups, also found on Les Paul Standards of the same era, are mounted. Based on a vintage style, the slightly hotter finish makes them a perfect match for modern, driven sounds.
