AK Basing Bits are ready-to-use 3D-printed resin accessories designed to bring instant storytelling and atmosphere to your miniature bases, dioramas, and terrain. Each themed set contains a selection of highly detailed pieces — from natural vegetation and ancient ruins to dynamic special effects like weapon blasts, plasma trails, and portal energy.
The concept is simple: glue, prime, paint, done. No flash to clean, no supports to remove, no 3D printer required. Every piece comes ready to attach straight out of the box. The resin is durable enough for regular wargaming and accepts paint beautifully — primer sticks without issues, and you can drybrush, wash, and weather them exactly like any resin miniature.
Designed at 28–32 mm scale (the standard for Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, D&D, Infinity, Bolt Action, and most popular tabletop systems), though many pieces work equally well for dioramas and display projects in adjacent scales.

These are resin, not plastic. Standard polystyrene cement (Tamiya Extra Thin, Revell Contacta, etc.) will not bond them. Use super glue or epoxy only.
Unpainted grey resin. They arrive in a uniform grey colour. You'll need to prime and paint them to bring out the detail — they're not pre-coloured like some competing products (e.g., GamersGrass tufts). For experienced painters this is actually an advantage: full control over the colour scheme.
Piece sizes vary within each set. Each set includes a mix of smaller and larger elements by design. This is intentional — it lets you use the smaller bits on 25mm infantry bases and the larger ones on 40mm+ or diorama scenes.
