Gibson Les Paul Special Junior 2-TV Yellow- (1991) (no260309) Gibson Les Paul Special Junior 2 - TV Yellow - [1991s] Debuting in 1955 as a derivative of the Les Paul, the Les Paul Special remains popular in the rock scene thanks to its simple looks and easy operation.Based on the Les Paul Special's specs, the 1991s Les Paul Special Junior II is an upgraded model featuring a Tune-O-Matic bridge and two stacked P-100 Soapbar pickups. The wood materials include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The solid TV Yellow paint has faded over time, becoming a darker yellow than usual. There are faint cracks appearing throughout the body top, back, and back of the neck, and the darker yellow coloring adds to this impressive, imposing guitar. Weighting in at 4.34kg, it's on the heavier side for a Les Paul Special, but that seems to contribute to the firm, resilient low-end output. The neck shape is a slim C-shape, typical of this era, providing stress-free playability for any playing style. It features a grip that's easy to play with, even for those with smaller hands. As mentioned above, the pickups are stacked P-100s in both the front and rear. Based on the sound of the P-90, this model uses a stacked humbucker configuration, resulting in an evolved model with reduced noise compared to the P-90. Rather than the crisp, crisp sound of the P-90, it features a thick, lustrous, mellow sound, which, when paired with a treble-heavy amp like a Marshall, allows for a balanced, powerful sound. The sound has a compression that's different from both the P-90 and a regular humbucker, and once you're hooked, you'll be hooked. About 60% of the frets remain, and the low frets show some dents due to use, but there is no choking or other issues and playability is good. The neck is set straight with a slight forward camber, and the truss rod has been confirmed to work in both directions, but it tends to be too tight in the tightening direction. Both the body and hardware have been thoroughly cleaned to give it a glossy look. The original strap pin was a non-genuine part of a different color, so it has been replaced with a non-genuine chrome-colored part. The original case has been removed, but a non-genuine gig bag is included. The darkened TV Yellow color and numerous cracks give this guitar a very dignified appearance.Don't miss this opportunity!~SPEC~Body: MahoganyFretboard: RosewoodNeck: MahoganyPickups: P-100 SetControls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3-Way Toggle SwitchWeight: 4.34 kgNon-genuine gig bag -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
