Here is a very rare complete set of 14 cards showing the German ww1 fleet that was scuttled when the Germans lost ww1. these photos were taken by the British in 1919 and show the fleet sunk, sinking, being boarded by the royal navy, salvage work, reflecting of the ships etc.
These cards are the original set with all 14 cards present. each card has the description of what is seen in the photos. they measure 177mm x 127mm approx each. so larger than a postcard.
there has been a full set of 14 postcards made with the exact design of these cards here but these are not postcards and are the original set used for publishing. such as in newspapers etc. these could be described as press cards.
these are very rare and rarer than the postcards especially since its a complete set.
the condition of these are very good without any damage of significance. the odd scratch of crinkled corner, some stains etc but otherwise totally fine for over 100 plus year old.
