Mares Cyrano 1.3 42NP Pneumatic Speargun

This setup is an upgraded configuration prepared for serious spearfishing and larger fish. The speargun comes fitted with a Mares Spiro Vertical Reel 65, spooled with 2.5 mm high‑strength Dyneema line, an 8 mm titanium line slider, and a clean rigging setup with a hidden knot near the line slider. The rig was assembled carefully for reliability and performance in demanding conditions.

The Cyrano 1.3 features a 40 mm outer barrel with a lightweight single‑piece head and reduced cone design. The 13 mm internal barrel is positioned slightly upward off-axis to improve the line of sight when aiming. Stainless steel components are used for the trigger and line release, ensuring smoother operation and durability during firing.

The gun is equipped with the Evo piston system, which increases shooting speed, improves loading comfort, and enhances lubrication inside the barrel. Oversized air channels within the inner barrel help optimize airflow for more efficient performance.

An ergonomic handle with Cyrano Blue grip provides a secure and comfortable hold underwater. Models 42, 55, and 70 come with an 8 mm threaded shaft, while longer versions 90, 100, 110, and 120 are equipped with an 8 mm Tahitian-style single barb shaft. A lightweight carrying bag is also included.
